patricia wilson smith

Patricia Wilson Smith is a visual artist and curator working in all media - traditional and digital. She makes unique wall art, installation art and video and has a particular interest in site specific work.

Patricia has made large-scale digital artworks for the Thanet Off-shore Wind Farm (Vattenfall) and the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury. In 2015 her design for an exterior painted mural was installed on a prestigious new apartment building in Shoreditch, London.

In recent years painting has become a way of exploring her emotional relationship with the environment and landscape, particularly the coastline of West Penwith in Cornwall. Her paintings and prints are a vibrant interpretation of a special post-industrial landscape and its unique geological legacy.

Patricia also explores ideas through books, and has self-published two books, a child's book and a tongue in cheek 'memoir'. She is currently working on a ideas for a third.

Patricia lives and works in South East England.
